What to Expect
We understand that visiting a new church can often be an intimidating experience. At North Star Baptist Church, we desire your first visit to be spiritually refreshing, uplifiting, and enjoyable for the whole family.
What can I expect on my first visit?
Here at North Star Baptist Church, you can expect to find a warm and inviting atmosphere, combined with a sincere desire to grow in Christ. During our services, you will enjoy music that is both traditional and uplifting, followed by a clear Bible message from Pastor Brian Mason.
What type of church are you?
We are an independent, fundamental, Baptist church. For a better understanding of the spirit of our beliefs, you may want to review what we believe.
What about my children and teens?
We believe there must be a balanced exposure of both age-specific services/activities as well as worshiping and serving together as a family and with the entire church family. North Star Baptist is dedicated to helping children and teens grow in Christ and offers age-based teaching when able.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at North Star Baptist Church. Our ministry leaders and many in our church family dress in a more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main desire is that you feel welcome during your visit here.
Other questions?
If there’s something we missed, just give us a call, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you’re new to the area and looking for a church home, or it has been a long time since you’ve attended a church service, we trust your first visit at North Star Baptist will be enjoyable and helpful. We hope to meet you this Sunday!
